The Baobab promotes a very inclusive volunteer driven environment. There are great opportunities for YOU to Get Involved in the community… Positions are open to students, professionals, retirees, and youth seeking development and mentoring relationships.

Currently we are seeking persons for the following roles:

Board Members
Executive Director
Volunteer Director
Capitol Campaign Director
African Education Director
Marketing and Public Relations Director
Gallery management and Art Exhibit Curator
Finance and accounting manager

Program managers
Volunteer/Intern – African craft and arts for children
Volunteer/Intern – African folklore and African American literature coordinator
Volunteer/Intern – Membership events
Volunteer/Intern – Marketing and events promotion
Volunteer/Intern – Website management and communications coordinator
Volunteer/Intern – Coordinator of socials and private events
Volunteer/Intern – Grant writer
